(disconnect the cable, power the phone off, press and hold "Vol+" button and connect USB cable).
Install necessary driver.
Press "Write Backup" button in the software
and select security backup file that previous software version made before damaging device.

How to Repair L-06C, V900, V909, V909DW, V909DWDU:
Put device into Nvidia boot-recovery Mode (re-connect the USB cable, press and hold "Vol+" + "Vol-"
buttons for 1-3 seconds and press "Reset" button).

As a result - "APX" device will appear in PC Device Manager.
Download and install manually for this device Nvidia Boot Recovery Driver.
As a result - "APX" device will appear as "NVIDIA Nvidia USB Boot-recovery
driver for Mobile devices" in PC Device Manager.
Select device model from the list.
Select any firmware from Support Area for this device.
Press "Repair" button and wait till the process will be finished.
Your device is repaired

Note!

If your device has firmware with lower Android version, please upgrade it to 4.4.2

Before performing all operations for Nexus 5 D820/D821, except "Repair Security",
"Write Security Backup" and "Read Full Flash", you need to unlock phone's bootloader

Note!
After performing Unlock or Repair IMEI operations for D820 and D821,
3G network will become unavailable (2G networks will still work).
At the moment developers are working on the solution on how to activate 3G.
If you wish to return your device to the previous state, before it was unlocked
or had IMEI repaired, just write first security and NVM backups to the device.
