Smart-Clip2 Software v1.26.10 is out!




Released FLASH via fastboot mode feature for latest Huawei smartphones
based on Qualcomm and HiSilicon.
This feature can be used for phones that won’t turn on, freeze on logo, etc.,
but still can enter fastboot mode.

Procedure:
1. Connect the phone in fastboot mode (vol- power ON) to PC.
2. Select corresponding update.app firmware file and revive device with Sigma

Benefits:
♦ Full/partial write of firmware partitions
♦ FAST direct firmware write via fastboot mode
♦ Flash of regular update.app files to devices with locked bootloader
♦ Possible to use original flash files from open sources, e.g. from here or here


This feature is available without limitations for all Smart-Clip2 users with Pack5 activated.

Smart-Clip2 Software v1.26.11 is out!



1. Released flashing via UPGRADE MODE feature for
Huawei smartphones based on Qcom and Hisilicon:

♦ Press vol+vol- and then connect USB cable to enter the Upgrade mode
♦ Possible to use original update.app flash files from open sources, e.g. from here or here
Please use this method as a main method to flash Huawei smartphones.

2. Released ENABLE DOWNGRADE feature (in Manufacture mode) for
Huawei smartphones based on Qcom/Hisilicon.

You may use it:
To downgrade phone’s firmware version - for example, downgrade from higher to lower one.
To change phone’s localization (for example, to switch from Operator1 to Operator2).

How to do that:
♦ Change provider settings (in manufacture mode)
♦ Enable downgrade (in manufacture mode)
♦ Flash the phone with the firmware that fits the selected provider settings
(Using upgrade mode: vol+vol-and powerON)

This solution is included into Pack 5 activation.

Some users flashed Huawei phones using Factory firmware in a “Full flashing” mode.
As a result all areas were flashed, including factory calibrations areas.
After flashing factory areas, phone’s network and other functions became unavailable.

To meet the needs of our users and to prevent the above mentioned situations,
we have made some changes in Sigma.
From now on, when selecting Full flashing mode,
you will have to additionally select factory calibrations areas.
Soon we will release Repair files for some models
to restore the phone’s operation after the above mentioned cases.

Card update is required.
