While iOS 6.1.3 is available for some time, Semaphore offers an updated version of its software TinyUmbrella 6.13.00 to save SHSHs files on your iDevice under 6.1.3. All devices are compatible.
The developer states that validation APTicket is not supported, but it will be in a future update of the famous program to backup SHSHs files. For the moment, we therefore recommend you use iFaith for this backup.


As usual, TinyUmbrella is available on both Windows and Mac and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch generation. You can download it for free via the following links:

TinyUmbrella v6.14.00

Earlier today, Apple suprised many users by releasing their new firmware for iPhone 5 called iOS 6.1.4. This new iOS 6.1.4 only support iPhone 5 with updated audio profile. Well-known iOS developer, notcome, also released new version of TinyUmbrella with support for iOS 6.1.4. We haven't heard much about iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak from our hackers such as Pod2g, and his team, Evad3rs. And now Apple just unexpectedly released iOS 6.1.4 which will bring more challenges to them. You can now download TinyUmbrella v6.14.00 to save SHSH blobs for iOS 6.1.4 at the TinyUmbrella ****. I will try to have a tutorial on how to save shsh for iOS 6.1.4 really soon. Stay tune....

Tinyumbrella v7.02.01 iOS 7.0.2 support

I’ve updated TU for iOS 7.0.2. Your mileage may vary. I fixed the libraries issue. (My mistake!). I’m still working on a fix for iTunes 11.1. I’m pretty sure I know what the problem is. I just need to find a few hours to put the fix into TU.

Keep in mind, this is only likely to work for a4 devices and older. (a5 and newer devices are out of luck) Sorry!

I just updated TU for the 4 new iPhone 5* devices. TU supports saving SHSH for iOS 7 and 7.0.1 (for the new devices about to be released).

Perhaps eventually we'll be able to restore to these firmwares using local SHSHs but remember that currently local restores are primarily for older devices (non a5 devices and lower!).
